I have now owned and used the tamron 150-600G2 for just over a month and coupled with a nikon D500 I am getting some superb results , the lens as bought did need micro adjusting but I am now extremely happy with it both for static subjects and for b.i,f finding it sharp wide open .
its a bit lighter than the sigma 150-600C that I have owned before and feels better balanced . I do believe they can be used on mirrorless bodies to but need upgrading firmware with the tamron dock system ..
years ago I would never have considered a tamron lens but this has certainly proven to be the exception and all I can say is I am very pleased with it a few recent images to back up this post included
