tamron 135mm f/2.5 close focus adaptall2 - any good?

I've just bought one on fleabay having it in my mind that they had a good name. Having checked though, the positive review was for the 90mm.
It was bin for half the cost I expected - probably because it wasn't the item I expected -

And close focus isnt macro...

There really should be a 30 second delay from when you press the commit to buy button as i've done that in the past, see something stupid cheap and think i've got 3 seconds before filterfantastic buys it arrrggghhhh click oh ****, it was made in 1977

Doesn't compare to the 90mm. I ought to compare mine with the more recent Tamron 24-135mm I'm more likely to be seen with. Keep an eye out for the f/3.5 200mm.

Ok its not macro but I had one years ago and it was a pin sharp lens

It arrived this morning and just from a quick 5 minutes play it does seem to be a pretty decent bit of kit.

Photon, I missed the 90mm that you pointed me at - but if it blows away this one then I will be watching for it and the 200 f/3.5
