Talk to me about car leasing

It is simple a case of doing your sums for the total cost of ownership over that period.

Sometimes excess mileage fees are very low and it is cheaper to pay those instead of loading it upfront and not use it. Sometimes it is the other way around.

Just always do your sums. I'm leasing my golf R through bluechillicars They've been good so far.

Thanks all for the info so far!
I have been doing some sums and internet browsing and it appears there are some good deals around!

What does? I can assure you I know the difference between a lease and a PCP. My car is on a personal lease or Personal Contract Hire (PCH).
OK - the extras (servicing, etc) weren't available when I last had a PCP, hence my comment. Maybe I could've worded it differently. Just a (clearly wrong) conclusion I drew.
No offence intended.

As far as Ford Options is concerned (unless something has changed since I had cars on Options) they now do plenty of deals with a low deposit that matches the monthly payment. Keep the car for less than a year, trade it in for another and you will always have a car less than one year old and never have to pay for a service.

Or you could get it from lingscars for £165/month

Only 3 months up front instead of 6 and they only charge £150 fee, not £360

Wow! That is a shocking website!!!

From what I have seen elsewhere she also does a fair bit of business for ex-Forces, definitely seems to be straight up and well priced (but run by a totally mad Chinese woman, or mental Oriental by her own description ;)).

I remember seeing her on Dragons Den. (y)

Wasn't she the first person to actually turn them down?

I see she decided to "privatise" her council services last month when they were cut by the local council.

A feisty businesswoman fed up with the state of her village has taken matters into her own hands - by hiring her very own handywoman to patrol and clean up her beloved hometown.

Ling Valentine - who once turned down a £50,000 offer of help on TV's Dragons Den - was so sick of cuts to council and police services in Grange Villa, County Durham, that she ignored government red tape and placed an advert in a job centre pleading for a handyman to revamp the community.

Former carer Clare Honey who responded to the unique advert asking for someone do "absolutely anything that needs doing" in the village, and she has now taken up a full time position on a salary of £16,000.

She goes on daily patrol in the former pit village, and carried out odd jobs while armed with her very own JCB work truck, company issue clothing and tools.
