Depends if you want to pay over £5000, closer to £5500 for a lens when the Mk I was rated so highly.... Wouldn't give mine up for love or money great lens.
Improvements seem mainly to be the IS system with a new mode 3 for low light action photography
i know thats why i am trying to convince myself that 2nd hand the way however u can sometimes buy trouble that route ie usm 2grand to fix that if it goes what a dilemma then got to face her indoors
3 simple questions then -
1. Is the mk1 sharp enough for you (my guess would be yes)
2. Do you need the improved features (is the af/is any better in the real world)
3. Would you miss the extra money for a new lens?
