Hi Everyone, i'm new here. I take photos of cars and when it comes to taking photos of car lights (e.g. xenons, leds, tail lights etc) the light gets scattered. How can I take picture of the car or the lights without having the light get scattered?

Do u mean stars effect??

Welcome to the forums John. The problem you have is getting the starburst effect, to achieve this you need to shoot the cars at F16 and greater. Now if it is dark this will lead to some long exposures. You will need a tripod and use a remote release or the self timer on the camera. You could try light painting the car with an LED torch also. Start with exposures of around a second or two with the camera in manual mode.
