Im off to the Outer Hebrides for a week in mid october. Our main base will be North Uist but will be travelling to Benbecula and South Uist as well.My main reason for going is to se Short Eared Owls and Hen Harriers along with hopefully some otter thrown in.I will also be on the look out for some wading type birds on the shores.
Anyone been in this area and can offer advice on where to visit to give me the best chance of seeing the birds/animals on my list. I already know of Balranald, Stinky Bay and for the owls/harriers there is Committee road ( we are staying 1 mile from this road anyway ). So any advice would be welcomed.
