In a rather happy coincidence for the festive season the first theme out of the bag today was "a candle"

Not the easiest subject but Ok, lets have a go at this.

This Lladro porcelain figure is on display on our mantelpiece and with the aid of a few large candles I attempted to make an interesting image ?

Well done @badlywornroy I've tried photographing candles in the past and It's not easy balancing the bright flame with the rest of the photo but I think you have nailed it.
 
ooooo a challenge up my alley... I looooooooooove candles... I used to photograph boudoir portraits by them all the time when I had my photography business... I'll try and add something this month (not boudoir... lol) Thanks for the challenge.
 
@KernowChris I think that is an inspired image, very well done. I might have been tempted to edit out the catch lights but that is just me and a very minor detail. Great photo for the theme :clap:
 
These were taken last weekend at a 6 year olds birthday party ' themed' as Alice in Wonderlands afternoon tea party.

Candles on our table and then reflected onto our patio glass door. Christmas lights from our trees are also reflected in the window :) Enjoy. Thanks for the challenge!
