Ok I'm looking for a 10" tablet for about the £150-£200 mark. There are a few choices but does anyone have any recommendations please?

Thanks

Simon

you can get a reconditioned ipad2 from microdream for about that

You can get a nook hd+ for well under your budget. A great tablet however doesn't have a camera. Does everything else very well though. Probably struggle to pick up a new one now but would be approx £100 new or £50 second hand

Thanks for the suggestion mike but it will need to be 10" min and the camera how rubbish it may be will be used.

My son has a Samsung one but this is the bigger version at 10.1 and there's a code for an extra £20 off until tomorrow. You can use clubcard boost as well if you have any turning £5 voucher into £10.

John Lewis doing the same price for this...minus the clubcard point bonus of course.

Is it any good? I have seen a few bad reviews on it!

I've got one and love it. l did have a hudl2 which was good but a tad small, always hit the wrong thing ;)
The samsung hS a good battery life, camera is ok but not brilliant, ok for quick snaps, not tried the video.
Battery life is good and not had any real problems with it so far, well other then it is a tablet and like phones l don't do well surfing on them, bought it mainly to put pictures on to show people rather then cart the laptop out

I like the lenovo but there doesn't seem to be any decent cases for it unless I'm being blind!!

Mrs Nod has a Lenovo yoga tablet and one of those cases - loves it.

You could get a good used 12" Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro for £200 or under. I bought one of these and love it, when others are watching the telly I just open PLEX and watch away with the headphones on.

I've seen the Galaxy Tab Pro in currys for £229 new. But is it old tech now and be outdated in 5 mins?

If it's in stock it's obsolete! But it won't work any the worse for being last year's model unless you want or need the latest bells and whistles.

I've just bought a 12.2" NotePro which is the same thing (but dearer!) but it has a stylus. Its actually more powerful than the more recent Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and seems to cope with anything I throw at it so I have no doubt the Tab Pro would be fine too.

Back to the drawing board now as they cancelled my order for "security reasons"
Not happy!!

Might be worth contacting them - I had a lot of hassle ordering from Dell last year with all sorts of odd emails flying around. A direct call sorted it.

I tried that, All they would say there was security issues but they wont disclose what they were. I basically think they realised they dropped the ball and were going to sell it too cheap!
