Table top photography

Hi guys..
just wondering if anyone has shot product on lighting table using daylight fluorecent tubes?

i have always used studio block heads. so i was wondering if anyone uses different lighting for this kind of work?

Is there many makes of slim lights?

This image from Bacht is what made me think.

I have used my lightbox which has 2 daylight tubes. This was used to light small product shot. On ordenary table. Sorry I do not have a copy of the shot.

Thanks Melvyn. might just give it a go to see the results and then build some lighting......
