T-Mobile web & walk stick?

Hi all,
I got myself a T-Mobile web and walk stick on Friday and can't seem to get a constant link to the net? I try to download files and it suddenly loses the connection? I have disabled my laptops built-in modem but still have my BT software on the computer ( Don't want to get rid of it until happy with this kit) Anyone have one of these and knows how to set it up properly? Any help would be great. Feek.:shrug:

Have you checked the quality of the T-Mobile service. I have problems at home with O2. Can't get a signal downstairs, no problem upstairs

I have the Vodafone equivalent - gets uo to 7.2Mb when there is a signal but it can be very "spotty" in some places. I have the same problem as Chappers around my home.
