Trying to get all the disclaimers out now...
London & Leeds, so I said England, not UK, for those who don't like the idea of being identified as part of the single most respected Union nation on the planet. I could have tried Great Britain, but it would probably have descended into rants about how we're not Great anymore. Yay jingoism!!
This is aimed at Canon shooters, not Nikon, Pentax et al, but you may benefit from going anyway if you're nearby.

It's organised by the SWPP. You may not like the SWPP, and based on recent threads elsewhere there's a lot who don't. Don't hold that against Syl.
It's not a workshop, it's a presentation / seminar. That means no hands on, no need to lug heaps of kit along, and no you'll not be coming away with cards full of shots.
They're 1/2 day (3 hour sessions). If you want the full day, book the morning and afternoon slots, capiche?
Syl's american and a bit nuts. Read his blogs, get to know what to expect.
For the love of all things great and good, if this is too expensive for you just don't go, let's not have this descend into how they could run it for free if they opened it up to 25,000 attendees over a web conference...
But, to get the ball rolling...
I'm not going, it's too cheap for me and I don't like cities that begin with "L" cos they're overpriced Canon cities
