I'm looking to switch for the first time in about 12 years. It's between TSO and Vidahost, and yes I know they are essentially the same firm.

I have one, non-critical, web site. About a dozen parked and re-directed domains. And several emails accounts.

It is the transfer of the email accounts that worries me. I'll be talking to their sales people before finalising things but I would appreciate comments and experience of others to help me with my thinking on this. If you have switched, especially to TSO or Vidahosts, how did the email account migration go.

What control panel are you/they using?
 
What about downtime & interruptions, with regard to email hosting?
 
Ah, cPanel on both sides would have been easier according to my experience ... no help to you though :)

download them all via pop within your email client, then just set up the same email addresses on new server? That's how did it anyway when I moved everything from a standard TSO account to a cloud account. The rest, they did for me in terms of migrating sites, databases etc.
