Suz's Octoberfest thingummy

Lovely light in the first one.... interesting take on the empty bench.....Makes me wanna go sit on it...

As soon as I saw the bench I wanted to sit on it in that sunlight :)

Agree with the above, that bench looks so inviting.

For a bench, that is actually a surprising nice bench shot :)

great start! well done!! looking forward to seeing what else is coming our way

love the dof in the flower shot (sorry have no idea what the flower is!)

I have no idea what sort of flower it is either! It's white and that is all I know :)

I prefer the first of the two, mainly because of the bokeh :)

Should re-shoot something similar but using the macro as that seems to give me the effect I want more often. Get spoiled with such shallow DOF :)

Gawd that last one brings back memories..........long time since I've seen one of them!

I really like the second two, they have a nice colour and tone

I like both those shots Suz - bokeh on the first and colour on the second - but you gotta tell us what it is, or better still, post some more shots :)

I might. Or I might keep them for the 'what is it' thread if I can ever guess another :)

haha... good thinking. You won't need a crop on yours, it's a mystery to me at full size

Hopefully I'll do some more today :) Was rubbish weather yesterday.

i really like the drain photo, very interesting design... keep up the prime challenge, im going to find it tough over the weekend!

There was so much to see and take photos of. I was like a kid in a sweetshop. The house was shut so that has at least reduced the number a bit.

Probably taken a good month's worth in one afternoon :)

Suz.. love the drain pattern..but i feel the pavement should have run horizontal.. interesting third image..??

I should have been more careful with the drain and the way the flooring was going. I was probably trying to be rakish with the angles :)

The 3rd one is some mad plant that kind of reminded me of someone giving the finger! I thought it was quite a contrast to the upmarket and elegant garden it was situated in.

SUZ!!!... this is a family show ... .. my mother superior reads these gossip columns frequently..

[snigger]

Love the first plant (gerainium?), and the last one. Great shadow in the window.

Love the last one, window shadow. And yes my first reaction to that plant was as well that it was sticking up a finger at me. :)

Suz you have some good captures there..

Thank you :)

So glad someone else thinks the same about the plant :)

Just need to think of somewhere to go next week that is indoors as weather looks horrible!

Some really interesting shots here.....

Doing a great job !!

Lovely lighting on the watering can
