Hi there 
My name's Richard, I'm from Manchester, UK. I was told of this site by a colleague at work, who said it was a pretty cool place
Currently I have a Canon 650D with the standard 18-55 is ii kit lens and also a Canon S100 as a backup
I've always been a huge fan of photography and art, although I never picked it up after high school. Back in February this year, I was off work due to surgery for awhile, and being at home bored constantly, I decided to pick it up as a hobby
Absolutely love it, I find it so relaxing and a joy to be able to see the world from new perspectives.
I'm still not sure what direction I want to go with my photography, ie Macro, Portrait etc. Not that I'm rushing to find out, I'm just enjoying the journey right now
Looking forward to getting to know you all and seeing some awesome photos
