Sumsung s830 help...

Hi all...

Not been round here for a while as been busy with other things but I have a question from a mate on another forum who`s having a wee problem with his Samsung s830 and was wondering if someone here could help him.

Here`s his question...

I know this is a long shot but I'm finding absolutely NOTHING online or in the manual about this problem.

My wife has a Sumsung s830, it made a bit of a funny noise and now no longer focuses. On the screen it says [CAF] in the bottom left hand corner (after the card inserted indicator), nothing in the manual refers to this message. The page dedicated to the LCD monitor indicators doesn't mention it at all. Troubleshooting doesn't mention it either...anyone have an idea before we go off and buy another camera?

He has tried different batteries etc and now says the [CAF] error message has gone but the camera still won`t work or focus.

Hope someone can help.
