Suggestions for next camera and lenses

I currently have
D300
105macro
50mm f1.4d
35mm f1.8
11-16 tokina
lensbaby 50mm and 85mm
300 Tair lens (m42)
panasonic gf3 45mm-? default lens and 20mm f1.8 pancake

I am looking to upgrade to a mirrorless range finder (if possble).
I was looking at the leica m240 plus voigtlander 15mm f4.5 and voigtlander 35mm f1.2 But unfortunately I do not have enough funds to get these. Always out of reach.

So I am looking for any recomendations on a lighter replacement kit.
I like the wide angle to get a whole car in one shot or a sightseeing building.
I also like macro so if it can use tubes of some sort... or a decent macro lens
and really like the bokeh so which ever suggestion I`d like a portrait type lens with a low f#

I liked the rangefinder of the leica, but havent found any decent replacements. Cloesest I think is the fuji x-e3.... but I dunno it or lenses.

I'm not looking for a nikon as they seem to be big, or in the case of df, missing some specs for the price...

Any recomendations please

Currently, apart from the Leica M10 & M-P, the only mirrorless full-frame cameras are the Sony A9 and various A7s but they're not rangefinder-style. The bodies are small and light but the lenses are very similar in size and weight to DSLR FF lenses.
Nikon is teasing a new mirrorless system that's probably FF but who knows when it will actually ship. Again, what's been shown is not RF-ish.

Frankly, unless you really need the lighter weight of an APS-C or µ43 system, I' suggest keeping your good selection of lenses and just get a D500 or D7500 body.
 
@Pete - quality looks good. Guess I`ll need to find a place so I can try it.
@snapshot... getting to that conclusion... just soooo heavy to lug about and I havent used in almost a year.

Really wanted to go full frame for next camera...

On th dpreview site I have the side by side :
Pen F, Fuji X T100, Fuji x-e3, Leica m240 and Nikon df...

What about the fuji x-e3 ? and lenses...
Alternatively I`ll just forget it....

I could be persuaded to sell/swap my as new Pen-f and 45mm f2.8 Macro for your D300 &105mm Macro.

Well that's curious - the D300 is a very functional camera and good in the hand, but rather noisy in the shadows by current standards ...

Let me get this straight. Your current kit is too heavy, but you want to go full frame and use bigger and heavier lenses? Riiiiiiight.
 
You don't seem to clear about what improvements you're hoping to get from your change from your current system, apart from your current system being too heavy to get much use. Apart from the weight, what are the photographic defects of your current system that you hope to improve? That you had been considering switching to full frame suggests that you weren't happy with some of the aspects of the image quality of your current system.
 
@Gandalf :) d300 and 105macro is nice.. add some tubes for more :) but I'm still not sure...
@droj - yup its decent and has lasted me for hmm 8 years now I think it is ... Has lots of settings that can be utilsed, remotes and lenses.
@Stewart R - have you hndled the leica m240 with lens ? Currently all lenses and cmaera in one bag is 10kg...
@chris.. yeah.. on the fence at the moment. Not sure what would be best hence asking for opinions here on kits pros n cons etc... As to full frame.. just because. It always is touted as being better and I'd like to experience it. Quality of the current system is ok. Some things could be better with the newer tech. Its just balancing price vs using vs quality.

For example, I could just upgrade the body to a d850 or 750 or something, but I'd also need to get a wide angle lens and chop in the tokina and probably the 35mm f1.8. I do like taking ppics of builçding in cities I visit and cars (usually classic car shows)

The problem is justifying it. Havent used much since I've been in Brasil because you can't walk on the streets with that sort of kit and not expect ahem... trouble. Which leads to is it worth getting the leica... price of a car n all.. As to Pen-F or Fuji C-e3, not sure they are a downgrade or sideways slide... And I'd still need to check out what lenses are around and costs...

Full frame leica m240 with 15mm f4 and 35mm f1.2 was what I'd like, reducing weight drastically, but at a very high money cost.
vs selling some lenses and getting a better body
vs selling all and getting a different system (assuming they have the lenses I'd like in the price range)
vs selling it all...


Still mulling it all over.

Sure, I get that. But I think you're confusing the issue here. The Leica plus the two lenses you mentioned doesn't come anywhere near replicating the functionality of what you currently have. I had assumed that the reason you listed your current kit in the first post was because that was somehow relevant. But if you don't want a macro, and you don't want a short telephoto, and you don't want a long telephoto, and you don't want a tilt-shift, and you don't want two cameras, then get rid of all that stuff and your bag doesn't weigh 10kg.

I suggest it would be more helpful all round if you could first define what you actually want from your camera kit, and then look at how to achieve that. Otherwise there's a danger that you get the Leica because full frame new shiny shiny, but then you realise you don't want to do without the macro or the telephotos, and suddenly your camera bag weights 12kg instead of 10kg....
 
I think the shiny shiny might be key! I had a friend who switched to Sony, wanting lighter kit. Chopped all his dslr kit in (Canon) and bought a diddy Sony. Wind the clock forward and he tells me, after taking a big trip, that he was a bit worried on a couple of domestic flights because his pack weighed 10kg! He explained he had two bodies and several lenses. We just love our kit!
