Hi Looking to build a bit of a budget studio in my loft.

I've been looking at backgrounds, and whilst I'd love a lastolite hilite background I just can't justify the cost.

I've been looking at the following, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Studio-Background-Support-7x7-White-Black-Backdrops_W0QQitemZ260525254656QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Photography_StudioEquipment_RL?hash=item3ca883e800 can anyone tell me if this will do for a basic set up. Does anyone have one? Will I be able to do the hilite shots that everyone does? :)

I already have a Portaflash studio system that I haven't used since I bought it and a Sigma EF-530 DG ST flash.

Looks fine for what it is.

But it's small and personally I would spend a little more and get a longer cross bar that you can adjust, like this telescoping one from Interfit for £88 http://www.warehouseexpress.com/buy...pport-with-telescopic-crossbar-small/p1031911

Edit: Hope you've got a big loft! Height is important. Also lofts get very hot in summer and freezing in winter ;)
