Yes
I appear to be in the early stages, but so far I've got 700d, camera grip, batteries, dual battery charger, car charger, 70-300mm Sigma, Canon 40mm 2.8, Canon bag, IluvU camera bag (both now too small), lens cleaning kit, backup lens cleaning kit, Manfrotto tripod and mount, Slik tripod, ac adapter to run camera from mains, led torch, normal bulb torch, multiple memory cards, memory card cases....

Now I have it in my head that I need a canon 85mm 1.4 and other lenses. I also need a new kit bag....

What else do I need? Im thinking about filters, flashlight, new bag....

Will I get better or is this the start of needing counselling?

Counselling for sure :agree:

You've got CanonItus very bad.... ;)

Its only just starting , you also 'need' a long lens , a macro lens, a wide angle lens, to upgrade your standard lenses to f2.8 models, two flash guns, a second body, etc etc (if you find yourself with all of the above wondering if you need duplicate kit in case something breaks you should see your bank manager imediately

Don't forget radio triggers, extension tubes and waders o_O

I think i am on the way to being cured, still into my cameras and lens, but stopped buying bits and bobs years ago :D

I have just about cured my GAS but the cure has been expensive - I now have pretty much everything I want (apart from a long, fast zoom and I'm too tight to splurge on one of them!)

I'm not quite sure how you cope without a full set of battery powered portable lights. Something like an Elinchrom Quadra set up would make your pictures about 100 times better for sure.

I need a 1DX and 200-400 f2.8 - i'm sure swimbo won't mind if i put the £15k that'll cost on the drastic plastic , much

your forgetting the carbon fibre tripod and gimbal head for that long heavy 2.8 lens you have always dreamed about.lol !!!!

Medium format system with Leaf aptus digital back ;)

I'm sorry but this maybe a case of terminal bank account. I have bags all over the place that I've outgrown so if you're going to get a new bag get a BIG one that your kit can grow into. You do eventually get to the point when you rarely get a GAS attack but it usually takes a lot of money to get to that point. I'm now really happy with my set up but I still browse the classifieds and think hmm........, I could just do with somehthing like that.

While I do suffer from GAS at times my spending is mostly under control now and I'm at the swapping stage. I do still have to raid the account for the occasional topup when one of my lenses needs to be seriously upgraded though.

i'm going to actually have to say i'm happy with what i have at the moment.
i might buy a bigger CF card for my D800 but other than that i reckon i'm pretty set :)
i have even been able to look at the classifieds & not feel the urge to frantically PM somebody an offer!
it's quite a nice place to be :)

Is it still GAS if you're considering chopping in a D800 against a Fuji X-Pro1 system? If so, call me GASsy!
