I have in my possession a green universal enlarger, fresh chemistry, trays and... Ancient paper. Even so, I managed to eke a fair print from an 8x10 sheet that well over 20 years old.
It's wonky, and has white edges where it was under the easel slightly, but I've still got that chuffed feeling that I got when I first dev'd my own film.

No point to the thread, other than to share with likeminded persons

I loved developing & printing my own film at Uni .... Too expensive and the hubby wouldn't like it at home !!

White edge down one side
White edge across the top
Slightly under exposed
Lacking contrast
Slightly wonky in the frame

Actually thats about it, which aint bad considering the age of the paper and the 25 years since I did any printing (I was 7 at the time and really only held the switch for the enlarger)
