Sub £100 cameras

I am looking at getting a sub £100 camera and have seen currys are doing a good deal of the Samsung PL50 at £79

Or otherwise i was looking at the Canon PowerShot A480

Which is better and why?

Or any other ideas? Ideally one with a rechargeable battery
