SU800 and Yongnuo 560 speedlight

Hi, does anyone know if a Nikon SU800 commander will work on Yongnuo 560 speed lights?

My setup is a D3, 2x sb800 & 3x YN560s - triggered by the SB800.

All speed lights do fire, the SB800 using ttl & the YN560s are manual. All off camera wireless lighting.
So the problem is when reviewing the image, the YN560s do not look as if the actually fired (knowing they did).
I even did a test shot of the actual YN570 speedlight, although it nearly blinded me when it popped, the image showed it was off.

Am I missing something here?

I'd really appreciate any advice & help - thanks in advance

The pre flash triggered it, you were presumably using S1 mode.

S2 mode will ignore the pre flash, and there'll be a mode allowing the SU commander control it too. It's covered in the manual.
