right guys, looking at buying an su-800 wireless flash sender.

just wondering will this all work together proplerly. looked into it but cannot find a list of cameras it willl work with so i am assuming it will work with every nikon camera.

do i need to buy a reciever for the sb600 or does this have one built in. i always thought it did have

its a lot of money so i need to know

thanks in advance maty

(bought a cheap ebay transmitter and reciever but let me down on a shoot!!!!)

I do know that the D60 doesn't have the wireless commander/trigger built-in.

yup i think thats why i need the su800. to take the place of the wireless transmitter

The Sb-600 has a receiver built in and can be controlled by a SU-800 or SB-800

but its loads of money!
Why not get an optical trigger and use the on board flash on low setting to trigger the sb 600? You will lose the ittl, but on manual you'll figure out the exposure pretty quick and still have £270 in your pocket!!!!!

Or if you want to maintain iTTL and have radio communication instead of IR (which struggles outside or in brighter conditions), you can always add Radiopopper PX to your SU800 or SB800 and fire remote flashes with iTTL or manual settings at up to 160ft distance (but at the price of the Radiopopper PX transmitter and receiver on top of what you have already :'()
