ok after a bit of research i think we should open our studio for hire, its very well equipped and quite big.

rates seem to vary so i can work that out, question is if you had the space etc would you hire it out?

second question, is training a viable option on top of hire.

worth a thought if you have enough down time when the studio isnt in use, personally tho,I would be terrified of people accidentally damaging my gear,do Bolton camera club have their own space?

I'm currently looking for a suitable property to set up a studio locally and I'm planning to hire it out when not in use. It's hoped that the hire revenue will add the icing on the cake :)

Providing training has been built into the business plan and could provide a decent revenue stream and a pool of suitably trained photographers that I can call on when needed.

I'm not too bothered about damage to kit as I plan to be there whenever it's in use and can keep an eye on how hirers handle the equipment. Insurance should cover any damages.

I use studios very occasionally in the north east
normally it's £60 for half a day, 4 hours
full used of equipment
but there is always staff on hand, maybe doing their own PP or paperwork to move things around because numpties do break things

Could be interested if i ever need to use a studio as your not far.

also just looking at your site i think there is an error on the pricing screens FAQ
