Stuck reimporting LR6 Catalogue

I reset my PC, reinstalled LR6.

Now I want to open my catalogue up in LR, but I don't see how to do it?

Help!!!!
 
Just looking it would appear to be

Open LR then, Library Tab, then

File >open catalogue ( and then find it and open)

or does that not work?

File >open recent won't work as it does not know it has a catalogue

Did you backup your catalogues before resetting your pc?

Yes, the last one I did was on the 6th of this month. But when I go to the file in LR, the images don't show.
 
If you mean - at the bottom of the screen you have lots of grey boxes - and no photos - once the catalogue is open - you might need to show lightroom where the original files are located. Right click on one of the images on the bottom line, and click 'show in explorer' - then it'll give you a message to say it can't find it, but will give you the option to find it manually. Once you've located one image, all the rest should auto-fill as well. (It might be that you have put your original files in another location compared to where they were before you reset your pc)

No it didn't give me any images or grey boxes at all.
I reimported all of the photos but the only thing is that some of the settings I've done are not there any more, so I now to have process those images again.
 
You wouldn't re-import photos - if the catalogue is still there - and the images are in the same location - you would just open the catalogue, and you'd see the images at the bottom. It's only if you've put the original files in another folder would you get the grey boxes....
 
Once I go to

Lightroom >Backups > 2017-06-06

There is nothing in that folder. If I click on 'All files' the catalogue is there. Once I click on that, it says it has to close LR and when I open it again the catalogue isn't showing.

I've noticed that 4 folders are not the same as the others, and when I click on them folders, there's a file that says 'Lightroom 5 catalogue'.
