Hi TPle,

I am interested in learning how to stretch and frame a picture on Canvas and was wondering if anyone may have wise words of advice?

While briefly googling I came across this course and was wondering if anyone can shed any light on it please?

Many thanks to all in advance.

Cheers

I don't know if this helps but I found there are some great videos on youtube covering

this very subject. I found them very interesting and feel confident enough to have a go myself sometime.

They were demonstrating matte cutting at the Focus on Imaging Show this year (and slated to be at FOI in March 2012) and seemed nice people plus know what they were doing.

As they have venues both in High Wycombe and around the country, I would have thought they would be reasonable. Why not give them a ring and ask about any specific things you want to learn about?

Anthony.

PS. I would be interested to hear what you think.

I thought £150 incl VAT for a basic framing was kinda steep.

Put bars together, staple side then Use canvas pliers to stretch other sides and staple bobs your uncle. No need to go on any course. WatchYouTube then have a practice and save a lot of money ;)
