Hi.

Just a quickie, I've stitched together 3 images to make a pano, but the result is stretched badly at either end. I know this is unavoidable as part of the process but I thought there was an option in CS3 to stretch or skew the image back into some sort of shape ?

Any pointers please ?

You could try using the Free Transform option. Select the area of the image that looks skewed, then select Free Transform and push it back into shape.

Filter>Distort>Lens correction.

Followed by a crop to square off the result.

It may be worth while removing the distortion from the originals before stitching.

Be aware that transforms cannot be done to the background layer.

Very true, however using the lens distortion filter automaticaly changes the 'background' to 'Layer 0' once the transformation is processed.

You would need to unlock the background (Rightclick>Layer from background) if you want to use Edit>Transform>Warp.

^ Thanks everyone !

With a little time I think I'll crack it now !

Churz !

No it isn't. If you could show us the pano, and ideally also the original 3 images, I might be able to offer suggestions as to how to avoid this.
