Yarmouth market move hits another snag

Plans to open Great Yarmouth's new £4.7m market face another delay due to problems with supplies and connecting gas and water.

I thought that the idea of local street markets was to keep the costs down for the stallholders, so that they could keep the costs down for the shoppers, increasing the turnover for local producers??? 4.7 million reasons not to spend that amount of money!
 
Gt. Yarmouth never had much going for it but the "old" Market was always somewhere I enjoyed going to.
 
chips are not too bad from the one in the photo they use real spuds not some frozen chips crap that quite a few use today

was there in the summer and the new market was still half way through construction

£4.7 million seems an awful lot of money for what it is
