Tomorrow night in Williamson Square, thats where the water fountain is, theres going to be some dancing and things it seems. The events are by Brouhaha. I've been photographing them for about 3 years now and they're great to shoot.

Thursday 2nd August 4.00pm - 8.00pm Liverpool City Centre

In partnership with Liverpool Business Improvement District Brouhaha International brings the city centre to life with street theatre music and dance to liven up your Thursday night. We start with a street parade along church street finishing at Williamson Square. After the parade starting at 5.00pm international groups will entertain the crowds in Williamson Square, Queens Square, Church Street, Clayton Square and Compass Point.

Williamson Square Performers:

Acitae (Cuba)
Ballet Enteredanzas (Spain)
Belmont Freetown Cultural Arts Company (Trinidad)
La Zona (Costa Rica)
Maracatudo Camaleo (Brazil)
VAMOS (Uruguay)

Queens Square Performers:

Ecludirazul (Portugal)
Theatre Artmask (Ukraine)
Three hours Theatre (Poland)

Then on Saturday is the big one.

This goes from the top of Hardman Street, where the college is on the corner I think all the way down Princess Street. Its a fantastic parade.

So obviously I'll be there but will you? :)

I'm meeting a mate for a drink in town tomorrow evening so I'll try and see it. I'll miss Saturday as I'm going off to the 'sunny south'!!

Thanks for the info.

I maybe showing my age and I don't want to offend anybody, but how safe is Toxteth these days ??

On any other day I probably wouldn't wander around Princes Avenue with my camera, however on this day there'll be loads of people out. I was there last year and I was fine.

Might be worth checking for route changes after a van explosion on the evening of 1st August and road closures in toxteth today 2nd August.

Hmm nuts so there was. I'm heading that way today so I'll see how bad it is.

Thanks for your time posting these events, I would have missed it otherwise. Will be looking foward to next years if there is another.
