Yes
Hi, is it possible to stream live video from a camera to another room in a building?

I want to be filming some sports action but be able to live stream the footage to another room for people to watch?

yes.

Easiest way = buy a long cable. If that's not viable (cables have max lengths etc) then your options get ever increasingly expensive...

What camera are you using, your D7000?

Yes D7000 but will revert to a HD camcorder if the quality isnt there. It will be filming a football match which I want to send to a screen in another room of the club house for the elderly who cant stand outside to watch

how long is the cable run? allow slack to safely run the cable around doors etc.

easiest and cheapest way is to get the AV cable that came with the camera, and buy two loooong phono extension cables, one for video, one for sound. PLug them in, and put them into the respective yellow and white plug sockets on the TV.

more expensive but better quality way is a veryyyy long HDMI cable, which can be expensive and have signal dropout problems

he has a point.... ;) phono is wayyyy cheaper than HDMI, and you (probably) won't need any repeaters...
