As now stated it is inside(under the protective cover) that too is what occurred to meNever seen it before ... looks like the wandering grazing trip of some sort of bug!

No rattle at all I'm glad to say.Does the camera rattle if you shake it? I'd say it very much looks like something loose inside has done this.
It's actually inside the screen not between screen and protector.I reckon Gramps has the answer - tiny bug burrows between screen and protector.
Bugs get between the LCD display and the external glass in many display types.It's actually inside the screen not between screen and protector.
