:: I very much liked your photos, have you considered Stock Photography?

Hello Chillimonster,

I especially liked some of the shots within your photostream.

They could do very well commercially
Would you consider contributing to our Stock Photography site? It's at stockphotopro dot com.
You have a very good artistic sense, which I think we can use in the collection.

always wary of stuff like this and was wondering if anyone else had eceived similar?

They seem legit, not heard of them before though, and googling shows there flickr account too, guess they maybe just use flickr for finding new photographers. It's not like they are asking for any info or anthing yet.

Looks legit...but when it comes down to it, its just spam really.

I got that email a while back. I wrote back saying how silly they were with their prices. Didn't hear back.

Sounds legit, at least they are asking - after all you read stories about companies stealing off Flickr

However, having looked at the link provided by JL I think the prices are low and so are the % ages, if you really do have saleable images there are better Stock agencies out there e.g Alamy or PhotographersDirect to name just 2.

Ive had a few like this on Deviantart. Its basically just companies trying to find more photographers for their business. If your happy with the prices they offer etc, then go for it, but there are better companies out there that don't have to rely on stuff like this.
