Yes
Flying back from Crete last night there was a strange aurora over Albania/Croatia and into the alps last night. After a while the pilot mentioned it but I missed what he said due to people talking behind.
Grabbed my camera for a few images, excuse the quality. Sky completely dark apart from blue dancing lights with an orange band at the bottom, almost light northern lights, but blue.

The only thing we've seen similar was one hell of a thunderstorm that ran for about 1/2 an hour down the West coast of Italy. More flickering than the Aurora. Might be worth contacting the airline and asking the pilot - sounds like it was an event worth mentioning so he/she'll probably remember it.

Fantastic colors, hope you find out what caused them.

Yes, noctilucent cloud.
Only seen them personally once, and not with such lovely colours.

As said noctilucent clouds for sure! Very nice high summer display. We get them from time to time up here in orkney as is doesn't get fully dark at night. There're great to watch and easy to photograph that northern light are there's much brighter.
