Hi all,
could someone give me advice on how you would straighten the image below.

I have tried several ways but keep losing his feet.
I know it is not the sharpest etc but Jay likes it so i need to get it ready as best I can to print. This is a small image just to allow you to see what I mean.

Use Photoshop's crop tool to rotate, then the content aware fill to fill in the missing bits.
Next time take one straight on while also doing a funky angle.

Here's my effort in LR5. Straightened, manually cropped and then cloned the pavement into the left white space.

Carol thank you I will watch a content aware video as not used it yet but looks like this is what I need to learn. This is very helpful thank you.
I hear your advice but there were too many plants to get in front of him lol! Just need to find a better wall next time.

Duncan well done you! A super result

I have been playing with it for over an hour and not getting it right at all. I was using the wee tool you use to fix a squinty landscape Ha! Wrong tool I see now Thank you I will try these steps Cathy

It doesn't help that you are an adult and he is a child :)

Try getting down to eye level or lower next time.

Ken you are right! That would be so much better.
Ok next time I am there I will try that out and see how it goes.
He was so desperate to get a pic of his hat so I may look at some of the others.
Thank you
Cathy :)

Wow! Carol the content aware is amazing! Mad I never tried or knew about it before so thank you

If you are using Photoshop, press ctrl+t and then rotate the image as you need. You might then crop it using the crop tool found on the tool bar. Hope this helps.

Next time don't be on the huh!! ;)
