HI all,
I used to do some photographs that had been set up using PS CS2. I used to make a white background as a background page, then open up a photo, which fitted the background page, then fade it out, and then open other pictures to fit on the page.
I have done this so many times, but now it suddenly doesnt seem to work, and i cant seem to find any tutorials to show me how!
Can anyone help me on how I should be doing this?
I am wanting to do a 10" x 10" photo of my daughter for her 21st, but she wants a square photo to one side and 3 small ones down the other side. Can anyone help???? PLEASE!!

Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean by 'fade out' surely if you open up a new project page in the size you want... import your photos then play about with the placement?

By fade out do you mean to make the first image transparent then put others ontop?

Hi,
yes I mean make the background picture fade and then put other photos on top!
Problem is I cant seem to open more than one picture, as soon as i do the first one dissapears!!!
Dont know what Im dong wrong as I used to do it for wedding albums, but just can't get it to work now!
Mel :(

I'd have all the images on separate layers firstly.
If you import your images rather than just open them they come in at a better quality and may stop them disappearing.

As for the transparency, right click on the layer you want to 'fade' from the layers bar on the right. select blending options and you should be able to adjust the opacity.
