Stopping Lightroom during export

In Lightroom I inadvertently clicked "Export" when I had 159 images selected, rather than just the one I wanted to export.
I realised my mistake, but I could not find a way to terminate the export process, and had to let it run to the end, and then delete the unwanted images.

Does anyone know how to stop the Export process part way through?

When it's exporting you should see the export progress bar at the top of the screen under the file - edit - develop menu selection. I'm reasonable sure just pressing the X of the progress bar halts the export.

Like Sharky said, just click the X to the right of the progress bar. I do it all the time.

I missed that one.
Thanks for the information, I'll bear it in mind for the next time I select more images than I wanted to export.
