Stop Stealing Photos - interesting reply from Facebook about copyright

I just read the rest of the page - I think I overreacted to it - they do claim unlimited license to use the images as they see fit though, but other users should not be able to use your content, at least not without crediting the owner.

Who gives a ****.

If you're bothered, then don#t post on Facebook.

they do claim unlimited license to use the images as they see fit though

This just covers them for other people sharing images. You agree to this when you sign up. Most forums will include something similar in their terms and conditions - including this one (probably!).

Steve.

What Steve said.

Just ask yourself, how can they show your pictures to people without permission to use them? (which is presumably why someone would put them on FB)
