Sticking down sprung wallpaper seams

Had one of our back room bedrooms paper a while ago but one wall was sealed prior to painting to keep some old damp down.
For some reason it has meant the seams of the wallpaper are popping away in places.

whats the best glue solution for this?
The paint underneath is an oil based paint.

I will alos be getting an edge roller

You get edge adhesive, like pva glue, but pva glue also works watered down slightly. And then an edge roller.

Yup, same stuff. or you buy whatever brand of Overlap and border adhesive, same stuff. Just water it down slightly.

I am sure I have some PVA glue just like that which I used for some laminate flooring a few years back.

Remember to use a damp cloth to wipe off any excess from the top

Soak the paper first, before using an adhesive. It will work better.

to force out the excess glue and push the paper down. No heavy pressure, or you'll tear the paper..

I have to say I didn't think anyone still used wallpaper.
The above suggestions are valid though (nail gun excepted)

I don't do a lot of papering anymore, but a lot of decorators I knew used to use them as they were always in your toolbox. I never got used to mini rollers, but that could be bad technique on my behalf.....

I guess that's just the way you get taught. My father in law was a decorator so I spent many years earning extra money helping him.

I've got my dad's wallpaper-trimmer somewhere. (still in it's green box)

How many can remember having to trim the white edges off the roll?
