Steampunk Wedding

Morning all,

Got an enquiry last night I'm super excited about, a steampunk / Victorian themed wedding!

I haven't met the couple yet, but we have exchanged a few emails and she has gone into detail about what the day is going to involve and it sounds brilliant!
Even the location of the wedding is gorgeous, a huge old stately home with 8 acres of gardens, and is surrounded by 300 acres of woodland.

I just wondered if anyone else has shot a themed wedding, or in particular a steampunk wedding, and could share any stories, photos, tips or suggestions?

I have googled it and found a load of pictures from one in America, and must say it looks really good fun! I will have to capture a lot of detail shots as the attention to detail in these pictures is really high!

I shot one for a couple of reenactors/Cosplayers. I believe they are quite well known in the games world. Bride wore a "traditional" frock and some killer boots. Groom was dressed like Adam Ant/Black Parade (depending on your age).

They had a hawk, a lot of fire and guitar hero. Just another day at the office
