Steam Train Information Sites.

Hi, I sometimes use the Railway Herald, although this may not give you the info you require.
Cheers Andrew.

Don't think there is anything better than those two really - a few dedicated railway forums like WNXX and railforums.co.uk might give a more advance heads-up on movements. I also subscribe to http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/rail-gen/ which gives notice of interesting movements, so steam transfers and drags rather than booked tours usually.

Thanks Andrew, I have looked on there before, can be useful at times.

Thanks for that Tim, it sounds interesting. I have joined up so will see what it's like.

Realtime Trains & Open Train Times I find are best. Use both WNXX & Martyn Nevatts websites for running a & info.
