Startrails update

For those of you doing startrails, the software used to stack pics has been updated to fill the gaps in trails

Hey Julian,

I have given that update a good test last night and to be honest the result although a marked improvement over the original version as it brings it up to the level of StarStaX it is significantly slower than StarStaX and it remains Windows only which for me is not an issue but StarStaX being cross platform supporting Windows/Mac/Linux is a massive plus for that software

I've not tried Starstax myself yet but have heard of it. Will have to give it a go sometime to compare them both.
The gaps were my only real gripe with startrails as even 1 second between exposures leaves a small gap.
I was also having a bet with myself as to who would answer this thread first - I was right

it's my passion so I tend to spot these things this is a full size photo done with starstax to show off the gaps or lack there of

Yeah I saw that one on your Flickr stream. I must get out and do some more trails again sometime soon. Just never seem to get any spare time at night these days
