Start a printed portfolio

Some advice if anyone could help please. I know there many companies that do printed books etc out there but a suggestion was made by Yv which I like the sounds of, and that is, when I get a shot I think is really worth printing and showing, to print it on real high quality paper and add it to a printed portfolio. Rather than have a normal 20 x16 print box with individual mounted prints in, is there an option for some sort of high quality book that I can add prints to as I go along? Either by adhering them to the pages or mounting them in some way?

Any experience you may have that could help me would be gratefully received.
