On BBC4 10pm tonight for all you Motown/Soul fans out there - great film that tells the story of the Funk Brothers, the Motown musicians who were behind more number one hits than the Beach Boys, the Rolling Stones, Elvis and the Beatles combined.

yep - and even the stones covered a number of Motown tunes

Watching it right now. What a wonderful memory trip!!! Motown was the music of my early teens (13-16)............then I found ROCK!!
