Hi,

I need a small set up of two stands with two diffusers/reflectors with changeable covers similar to the lastolite system seen in this video: http://www.lastoliteschoolofphotography.com/using-the-trigrip-bracket

I have looked on ebay and reckon I need the following items:

130411198901 £88 x2
130411207679 £69 x2

This comes to £314 before I've even bought any stands and I can't afford that much :(

Are there any cheaper alternatives?

Hi, what is Flash in the Pan? Is it a website?

I don't know what a superclamp is -I just googled one and from the photo it doesn't look like it swivels about on all axis' like the lastolite one does. I may be wrong, I usually am :)

Flash in the Pan is a member of this forum

He sells LOADS of strobist/ lighting equipment :)

You can get arms that hold a normal 5in1 circular reflector for about £25 too, and the reflectors are about £15 on ebay...

the lastolite system looks very good, but is also waaaay pricey :(

Be careful when buying the arms. I bought one for 20 quid and it's crap.

I'll qualify that statement. It's not crap if you use a decent calumet type cushion dampened stand. It doesn't fit the cheap konig stands.

the lencarta one will fit any light stand fine as it uses the spigot, rather than one with a clamp that goes around the stand tubing like the one that Dean must have bought.

A konig should be stable enough to hold it, though using reflectors outside you will always have to take wind into account and sandbag accordingly.
