Yes
Someone has left a fewof my shoot through brollies in the boot of their car (not cased) and they now have some stained patches that look a bit like rust to me, theres a few streaks which probably wont affect anything, but also a few bigger patches of " yellowing?" over one or two segments which might affect the colour. I've tried fairly liquid and hotish water but it hasnt helped.
Any ideas?

Spray paint

It's a shoot through, paint will cut down the light a lot?
Not enough to notice and probably not even enough to measure, just a very light spray to correct the colour

Aren't these usually less than a fiver, surely be easier just to bin it and replace.
Some people buy expensive ones.
I’ve always adhered to the principle of treating them as disposable

As a few have mentioned, replacing them might be a better bet. They are not my main studio ones, but a few I keep in the car for emergency use, I have 2 shoot through and I think 3 silvered reflector type. It's only the shoot through that have got stained (I lent them out) I'm am tempted by the Godox 42? inch softbox types, but the brollies are so quick and simple to bung up.
Before I do anything I might give the vanish soap a go, and Garry's spray paint. I've nothing to loose really.
Thanks all. (y)

If they're relatively cheap, get the person who left them to get stained to replace them.

It's a friend, and he didn't do it deliberately. Plus he's not in a good place financially. I'll just grab a few new ones.
I'm am tempted by the Godox softboxs, but I want to have a look at one first, to see easy they are to put up.

IMO the Godox softboxes aren't great.

Yes, thanks Garry.
I just watched a video of a guy putting one together.... I dont think I have the patience for that. Ok, maybe if your only putting it up for a studio, but too fiddly for doing at a venu and stripping it down again after.
I'll have a rethink. Any suggestions for quick and easy?

This is the type of softbox I have at home (different brand, the ones I have show as Unavailable at present).
I'll let others with more knowledge comment on the quality of these particular ones, and suggest any better options.

I also have a couple of the 'traditional' style softboxes that came with my cheap Godox mains strobes - but trying to assemble them feel like fighting an angry robotic octopus, so I don't use them if I can avoid it!

Have you tried an Oxygen Bleach yet? I haven't tried it on photography umbrellas, but it sure gets stains out of my shirts that nothing else seems to do.
