I use a UV filter on my lens for protection and also use a Cir-PL filter. Is there a correct way to stack these i.e..

Lens - UV - Cir-Pl
or
Lens - Cir-Pl - UV

or will there be no difference.

Stacking filters isn't usually a good idea as you're just adding four large flat surfaces which can cause reflections and diffraction, degrading the quality of your images. Stacking can also cause vignetting at the corners of the frame due to the filter mounts intruding into the FOV. If you set a smallish aperture and use the Depth Of Field Preview Button, you may be able to see any vignetting in the viewfinder.

I don't use a UV filter anyway, preferring to always use a lens hood to protect the front element from bumps, but in your situation I'd remove the UV filter while using the polarizer. :)

You can get away with leaving the UV on behind the CPL but as pointed out you may get vignetting at wider angles. I doubt you will notice actual image degradation by using both together. I only remove the UV filter when shooting at 17-20mm as I can then move the CPL that bit further back.
