East Anglia Spurn Head

I'm off to Whitby next Saurday (11th June) for a mates birthday and I've been looking at places that I could go to early before I meet up with him. Looking at Google Maps and I've come across Spurn Head. Has anyone been? If so is it worthwhile? Looking at the tide times low tide the 1st low tide is 4.30am and the high tide is 10.45am. I was planning on getting there for around 6am. Will this give me enough time as I don't want to be stranded!

The Spurn Head I know is in Yorkshire not East Anglia

Lots of industrial archeology on the beach on the north side. Wading birds on the mud flats on the south side. Two light houses at the very end (a good walk as the road has gone).
