Anybody been watching Springwatch? great series so far but if Bill Oddie doesn't change his shirt (three times in a row) he really will be suited to his initials.

Working on a live show, with recorded inserts, across three weeks, he will have a number of shirts which all look the same. This is to help with continuity: they can shot something on different days safe in the knowledge he is wearing the same clothing and so it will edit together correctly.

Just as an aside I know someone who knows a rigger working on the show and he reckons Bill is a bit jumped up and terrible to work with? Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Dunno about working with him, but I can tell you that as a regular customer, he isnt the most cheerful, but is always polite and not one of those 'everything for nothing' types.

Yes. I was at Slimbridge last year and took a picture of him. He didn't like it!
