Hi guys, I'm shooting rugby team photos this week and I need to work out how to light 20-30 people on a three tier stage. I have three 400w elichrome with two 80x80 softboxes and a brolly. I have a budget to hire additional softboxes. I just need some help with the setup and what aperture would be best to shoot at. Thanks

Mate...if it's an Australian Rugby team cater for 3 less after all the Aussie front rows never show up. ;)
 
ha funny! Got some advice today and I think I've worked it all out.
 
through my experience with lighting and shooting people, f8-f16 delivers good depth of field. might even be a good idea to set up some kind of lighting behind the group, just to separate them from the background.
