Split rings for camera straps?

Does anyone know of a source of spare metalwork for SLR straps? I bought three old Nikons recently and all lacked the rings (usually one circular, one triangular) to support the straps I've bought. Condition not too important so long as they're not totally rusted, or preferably new if you know their whereabouts.

i bought a QR strap recently - and used small key ring rings...IYSWIM

Try your local hardware shop they may do them in various sizes.
 
Thanks guys. The Nikon style triangular ones are lovely but the postage is more than the rings. I'll try my local hardware store and go mailorder if no joy.
