I am looking to photograph stair cases especially the spiral ones. Can anyone pls recommend me places where i can find these In and around london? I think the queens house has got them. Any other places you know where i could visit?

The Mayor's building on the southbank has a lovely staircase. Look for open days when you can go in.
 
You are right the Queens house at Greenwich has the most amazing spiral staircase, free to get in as well. I was there last month I'll post a picture when I get home.

Can't think of anywhere else off hand, lots of Grand staircases in London but spiral :thinking:

The southwest tower of st pauls, is it part of the st pauls cathedral? I read that the photography is not allowed inside the cathedral.

Much more difficult to photograph though.

When I was at the Queen's house a couple of years back it was "no photography allowed within". Has this changed?

I didn't ask, and didn't try to take photographs anywhere else. So not sure.

Every day is a school day, I never realised that Spiral Staircases had to be specifically that to be called Spiral Staircase

They are technically helical in shape not spiral but they can give the illusion of being spiral.
